In this class students will be making a 1.5" wide belt (standard width for wearing with denim) from 8-9 oz solid Latigo leather. In this 3 hour class we will be covering many techniques common with most types of leather crafting such as beveling, strap cutting, riveting and also we will quickly go over hand stitching. You will also learn about leather working tools and places to source everything you may need to purchase if you desire to continue learning this craft. Please bring paper and pencil if you'd like to take notes. The class has a maximum of 5 students. All tools and materials will be provided but please either wear jeans or a pair of pants that will accommodate a 1.5" belt or you're welcome to bring a belt you own that currently fits you.
