This is my standard slim wallet which holds about 12 credit cards but this time done in Italian shell cordovan. Shell cordovan is an equine leather known for its elaborate and complex tanning technique as well as its durability and ability to develop a beautiful patina over time. Production of this leather is very limited as the hides for this type of leather come from a very small area of the animal. This particular leather is done in a marbled indigo blue shade and hand stitched using Ritza Tiger thread. The pictures don’t do this beautiful leather justice, it’s stunning and feels great in one’s hand.
