Unlike the more expensive moleskin Le Laboureur chore coats we sell at the shop, these aren’t made in house in Digoin (Burgundy) but in a factory in Tunisia and in a standard cotton twill.

Le Laboureur translates as “The Ploughman”. Founded by Primo Zalenti in the Eastern French town, Digoine, the brand has been producing the finest, handmade clothing for over 60 years. Le Labouruer’s original ethos was to provide local craftsmen with everyday durable and dependable clothing, and this mission is still followed today. Today, Le Laboureur is headed by Primo’s first son, Jean-Charles, and has gone on to produce quality outerwear for renowned brands such as the French Postal Service and Junya Watanabe.
